This project concerns the construction of a new R+5 hotel complex for California Immobilier
It is located at the entrance to the ZAC de la Capucière in Bessan
With a capacity of 62 rooms the hotel also includes in addition to the classic areas inherent to hotel activity individual and collective workspaces on R+1 and a rooftop swimming pool on the restaurant volume
The hotel rises to R+5 and the elongated volume receives a specific architectural treatment
It acts as a visible landmark from the highway and from the roundabout at the highway exit
A white concrete cap surrounds the two volumes allowing a variation of materiality between them
Two volumes interlock to differentiate the two programs the hotel and the restaurant
The architecture of the ZAC de la Capucière aims to integrate into its basaltic landscape
The chromatic palette of the buildings must correspond to shades recalling the geological quality of the region
This rock presents variations in texture and singular colors
The basalt columns are a geological formation composed of regular strata
This singularity seemed interesting to exploit in the aesthetics of the façades
The materials used for the façades will be architectural concrete metal cladding basalt stone and trowelled plaster in a grey and brown color palette
