The project developed in Alès is an urban stitching and densification operation.

Today, Place des Martyrs appears disconnected from the rest of the city, and in particular from the commercial districts. The departure of France Telecom from the buildings lining Avenue Albert 1er — which currently form a boundary between the pedestrian streets and the square — offers the opportunity to completely restructure this space, by densifying it and assigning it a new role as an urban hinge between Rue d’Avéjan and the “Dalle de la Maréchale”, a kind of suspended garden built on top of a silo car park.
