Sydney is the capital of the state of New South Wales and the largest city in Australia. 23 km to the west, Parramatta City is the center of the Sydney metropolis and today hosts 20% of the 500 principal companies established in Australia. A new business district is developing with the construction of numerous office buildings and skyscrapers around Parramatta Square, a large interactive urban space of 3 hectares. Nicknamed “Twenty Minutes City” for its human scale and the proximity of its neighborhoods, the city of Parramatta continues its development by organizing an international competition for the construction of two new office towers, 200 and 220 meters high, developing 140 000 m² of useful surface area on a podium including an underground car park and a shopping centre. This podium forms the gateway to Parramatta Square from the station located to the south of the project. This project is the subject of an innovative environmental approach with a BREEAM EXCELLENT certification. The entire design of the building is part of this framework, in particular the breathable facades that make it possible to dispense with air conditioning.
