The project plays on the ambivalence between the urban landscape of Nîmes and the landscape of the nursery with its exotic plants that have become naturalized

At the crossroads of paths and cardinal axes formed by Boulevard Salvador Allende (East–West) and Rue Tour de l’Evêque (North–South) the roundabout at the entrance to Parc Georges Besse II tangent to the green diagonal of the future Parc Jacques Chirac offers a privileged location with great visibility and excellent accessibility to the Maison de l’Entreprise bringing together the CCI and the UPE du Gard

All the roads of the Gard lead to the Maison de l’Entreprise each with a different view revealing its full physiognomy

The Maison de l’Entreprise is organized as a hollow angle open onto the roundabout with the creation of a forecourt nestled in the heart of a local oasis of “Nîmes” palm trees which serves the CCI and UPE buildings themselves arranged around a central courtyard open to the green diagonal of Parc Jacques Chirac

The Maison de l’Entreprise will become a new urban landmark remarkable and attractive by its play on several architectural registers

Each building is distinguished by a specific expression and a kinetic perception depending on the viewpoint

The CCI in the front line along Boulevard Salvador Allende a noble institution with an apparently monumental and stately appearance with its surprising protective stone façade from the West reveals itself showing then a large opening and surprising delicacy from the East

The UPE spearhead of entrepreneurship in the Gard in the second plane of the forecourt and facing the CCI rises with its suspended skirt in bi-colored anodized aluminum blades twisting upwards to turn over and form the roof of the amphitheater and rooftop
